To represent the performances of the Mnet Asian Music Awards, a premier K-pop award show, the design blends cultural influences to reflect both location and heritage. A Chinese dragon, inspired by Lunar New Year traditions, was incorporated to honor Hong Kong, the 2025 event’s host city, while elements of Korean traditional painting informed the layout, forming the visual foundation for the dancers’ movements.

 

The addition of “Hallyu” (Korean Wave) in the title emphasizes the global reach and popularity of the culture, highlighting and celebrating the worldwide impact of K-pop music.
